According to media reports, many people guessing some former international cricket stars including Ricky Pointing, Stephen Fleming, and others might be appointed as Indian coaches. However, BCCI head Jay Shah has denied all the allegations which go on social media.

Former Indian star batsman Gautam Gambhir is anticipated to be appointed as the new head coach of Team India. Recently he mentored the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team to win the 2024 IPL title.
