Divya Ganesh started her career as a Video Jockey before entering acting. She made her Tamil serial debut in Keladi Kanmani playing Chembaruthi.
She then appeared in Lakshmi Vandhachu as a villain and Sumangali as the lead character Anu, which helped establish her presence in the industry.
Her major breakthrough came with the role of Jeni Chezhiyan in Star Vijay’s Baakiyalakshmi (2020-2022), which made her extremely popular among Tamil audiences. The character became a household name and significantly increased her fan base across Tamil Nadu.
