Before achieving fame, he worked hard labor alongside his father in masonry for ₹40 a day and later worked as a night watchman for 5-6 years.
He struggled academically, failing his SSLC exams and lacking knowledge of English and Hindi. Despite these challenges, he persevered and discovered Rangayana in Mysore after watching a movie.
Career
Chandraprabha joined Rangayana in Mysore by demonstrating his skills on the harmonium and tabla. He initially entered Maja Bharatha as an extra performer for one or two skits but persevered to establish his prominent role.
He became famous through Kannada comedy shows, including Gicchi Giligili, Comedy Khiladigalu, and Comedy Talkies. He is recognized for his popular double-meaning comedy on Gicchi Giligili.
