Amit Bhargav (Actor)

Amit Bhargav is an Indian actor, television presenter, and voice artist who works in Tamil and Kannada entertainment industries.

He became popular for playing the lead role of Arjun in the Tamil TV series Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai and is known for his role as Lord Rama in the Kannada series Seethe.

Amit Bhargav was born on November 25, 1989, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As of October 2025, he is 36 years old.

He grew up in Bangalore and started his career in the entertainment industry at a young age. Amit showed interest in acting and voice work early in his life.

He began his journey as a voice artist in the Kannada film industry before moving into television and films. His talent in voice acting helped him get noticed in the industry.

He became a household name in Tamil Nadu through his lead role as Arjun in Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (2014–2017). The show was highly successful and ran for several years in Vijay TV.

He won the Vijay Television Award for Best Actor Male in 2017 for this role. In 2015, he also received the Best Find of the Year award, which he shared with his co-star Priya Bhavani Shankar.

Later, Amit played Abinav Janardhan (AJ) in another popular Tamil series Thirumathi Hitler (2020–2022).

Apart from acting, he was the voice of “Bigg Boss” for Bigg Boss Kannada Season 1 and Season 2, which added to his popularity as a voice artist.

Amit Bhargav has appeared in several Tamil and Kannada films. He acted in the Tamil film Yennai Arindhaal (2015), which starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role.

He was also part of Miruthan (2016), a zombie action film starring Jayam Ravi. In 2017, he appeared in the crime thriller Kuttram 23.

Amit has also worked in a Hindi film. Besides acting, he has contributed as a voice artist in both Kannada and Tamil films.
